Okay, stuff that only I care about and has no relevance to the real world, but I've been musing about recently. I realized recently that the odds of my Robin ever interacting with his Batman in an rp scenario are astronomically small. Because he doesn't technically exist. Batman never appears in the Teen Titans canon. Which means that no one will ever want to play him.

...How incredibly soul-crushingly depressing is that? A Robin forever without a Batman! i_i

Cry, probably. ;_; ...Actually, in Aphelion!verse he doesn't care much since he's still sore at him, but he'll probably admit he misses him once it sinks in that he can't visit him even if he wanted to. He's already at this point in Dear Mun, which is what prompted the posting. Older!Dick and Zatanna had pretty much talked him around to wanting to try and talk to him again, and he was angsting at Dick about how he's not sure when he'll ever have the chance, and then I went and told him his Batman doesn't actually exist. Poor dear's having a bit of a crisis. ^_^;; Again. Dear Mun's done all sorts of twisty things to his sense of self. I mean, he just had the revelation about the fact that because he's fictional in some of the other characters' universes, some of these people KNOW HIS SECRET IDENTITY. DDDDD: ...He doesn't care about the fictional bit so much as the other thing, silly boy.

...The Batman thing really does make me sad, though. All horrible chemical burns aside, I really do want my characters to be happy. And can Robin really be happy without a Batman? I DON'T THINK SO.

ISN'T IT THOUGH?! I've already downloaded the mp3. Ryan Finnegan has all the best things on his LJ, I dunno how he finds this stuff.
