A few years ago I heard that he was supposed to be "the new Bob Dylan". I thought that was a severe overestimation of his talents... no offense, Conor, honey. You are very talented. But... Dylan.

Before Cassadaga and the Four Winds EP, I wouldn't have bought it, either. But like, when I get home I'm gonna make you listen to Cassadaga and just. Yeah. Omg the lyrics and musicality of it. It's just. Idek. It's his first chart-crashing album, so it's more accessible, I feel, but the writing in it is amaaaaazing. And it has the lead singer from Eisely doing a bunch of background vocals, jsyk.

The only complaint I have is like, sometimes it's too Dylan. I'm cool with him being the modern approximation, but I don't need to be battered around the head with a literal impression, you know?

Ignore the video. This song is probably my favorite off the album so far.
