Heh, yes; slightly stalker-y overtones notwithstanding, 'a pretty interesting mix,' indeed! ;) Man, Imogen Heap's voice gives me chicken skin And oof, that Overture is potent stuff!

Haaaaaaaaa you want stalker-y overtones, I am a stalker song connoisseur, I could give you an entire list. "I Will Possess Your Heart" is the only one that made it into the meme but there were several others that almost did. ^_^;;

Patrick Wolf is amaaaaaaazing, I love him so much. T_T

Ahaha, I guess "Oh Lately It's So Quiet" is sorta a reverse-stalker song, then XD

Ah, Death Cab. I adore "I Will Follow You Into the Dark"... which, okay, another level of stalkery going on there :P

Ha, I've never thought of "Oh Lately It's So Quiet" as stalkery. There's longing there, and jealousy, but no indication he's acting on it in a creepy way. If anything he's starting to move on.

"I Will Follow You Into the Dark" was my first Death Cab song. :) Might've made it onto the meme if "I Will Possess Your Heart" wasn't taking up the "I" slot. ...I don't think it's stalkery! That implies the other person's not involved in the stalker's imagined relationship! It's a love song! ...I do have to imagine the couple as elderly otherwise, yeah, THAT'S A LITTLE OVERBOARD, FELLA, SLOW YOUR EMO ROLL.

I bow to your superior logic, m'dear :) Of course, "Every Breath You Take" is the first one that comes to my mind when talking about stalker songs which I hardly ever do. Really. Why are there legit great (or at least catchy) songs about creepy behavior :-/

"Every Breath You Take" is probably the most famous one, yeah. ...I have a strange weakness for stalkery songs and songs with otherwise dark subject matter, dunno why. I like a good villain in my music for some reason. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

These are excellent songs! I love "I Will Possess Your Heart" and "Oh Lately It's So Quiet" so much... and you can't go wrong with Patrick Wolf at ALL.
