Reasons I love my wee scary!Timmy, Reason #48: the Timmy!filter. When the Timmy!filter is in place, the sweetest, loveliest, most innocent, totally vanilla love songs become AAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHSKETCHYCREEPYBADTOUCHAAAAAAAAHHHH!! Since Timmy is in my head a lot these days (threatening me with a sharp object and telling me to write faster), I am discovering a lot of songs on my iPod that dearest Timothy ruins VASTLY IMPROVES in this way. For instance, this morning on my way to work, Crazy by KC & JoJo came on. I just about died laughing. Go on, give it a listen, and imagine it coming from inside the head of a tiny stalker. LOVE AND ROMANCE WILL BE RUINED FOR YOU, FOREVER.

In fact, allow me to assist with some key lyrics:

Reasons I love writing Batfic, Reason #37: gratuitous Batman-crashing-through-skylight scenarios. I have the perfect excuse to write Batman crashing through skylights as frequently as I bloody well please. Expect it to pop up at least once in every story. It never gets old.

Let us not forget songs based on stalkers cleverly disguised as "love songs"... like "Possession" by Sarah McLachlan.

I think I'll have to listen to my playlist for The Donnas for the next day or so. They don't believe in love... or at least nothing they sing is really about it. I am looking forward to the next installment though. Even if I'm still completely a little bit freaked by wee scary!Timmy.


I approve of gratuitous skylight crashing. Not only is it fun, it's pure entertainment. And one of my favorite things to do in Arkham Asylum.
