So now that I have time to do Other Things*, I'm like... oh yeah, television, that doesn't stop happening when I ignore it for like a month and a half.

Finally got around to watching H50 2.20 and ohmigod MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAX~!!! WAY TO STEP UP, BABY, OH MY GOD. TT_TT And high-five Masi Oka, great acting, way to bring the emotion! ...H50, this is why I still love you, because every now and then you do something right.

I just– wow, I've actually really been wanting them to acknowledge Max's adoption in canon, but I wasn't expecting this, for them to make a whole episode about it, and wow they're really taking his addition to the main cast seriously, THIS EPISODE WAS SO MUCH MAX BERGMAN AND I LOVED IT.

And OH HONEY YOU WERE SO BADASS AT THE END THERE, HOLY SHIT, LOOK AT YOU GO, I WAS CHEERING SO HARD AND THEN AT THE END I JUST WANTED TO GIVE YOU A HUG, YOUR FAAAAAAAAAAACE~!! TT_TT

...I have to admit, I feel let down by the resolution for the shrimp truck thing (although I was adoring Danny's garlic-shrimp withdrawal faces askghalkfhsk hahaha!!); there was a tiny psychotic part of me that was fully expecting it to have been stolen by Steve McGarrett and repainted for use as his cover in some elaborate black ops mission, I could just see him DRIVING AROUND THE ISLAND IN A SHRIMP TRUCK WITH HIS SRS BIZNISS FACE ON, I mean come on, honestly Show, this is the type of ridiculousness I've been led to expect from you, you seriously dropped the ball on this one.

But as long as we've got Danny and Steve in the same paragraph, CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE LETTER OH MY GOD, when we saw the envelope on the desk with 'Danno' written on it my heart for real flipped over in my chest and just... STEVE. DANNY. FEELS. And Danny worrying about him and calling him a million times and Steve staring at his phone really wanting to answer but pressing Ignore every time a;glhakhsdflkajsfs. ...Also oh my god Steve WHAT ARE YOU DOING, is Team going to have to come rescue you in the Ohanacopter again, TRY NOT TO GET CAPTURED AND STRUNG UP LIKE A PUNCHING BAG IN A THIRD-WORLD COUNTRY, OKAY, I KNOW THIS IS DIFFICULT FOR YOU BUT DO PLEASE TRY.

Also 'Tokyo', yes, 'Tokyo', I can see that by the beach naupaka you're standing next to, Steve, well done.

Now I am dying slowly while I wait for 2.21 to finish downloading (BE FASTER, INTERNET, OH MY GOD), and oh my god I'm just not going to get much of anything useful done today, am I, no, I'm going to be watching 5-0. (I want more of wtf Steve is up to, oh my god, EPISODE YOU'D BETTER DELIVER.)

*I promise I will stop talking about Pō Pouli eventually, but oh my god aslgkhsklfhlkasdf my stats on AO3, 1881 hits and counting, 20 bookmarks, 59 kudos, I'M SORRY OKAY BUT THIS IS REALLY EXCITING, I wrote something and people are actually reading it, a-and they actually like it and I'M JUST HAPPY, OKAY. I have to say, I liked Masi Oka's character on Heroes more, but I do loves me some Max Bergman. I'm fond of Masi and... how can you not like Max? WAY TO REPRESENT FOR ALL THE NERDS, HOMIE. ♥ I have felt that he's been under-utilized, like... I've felt like I would love him even more if they'd put any effort at all into fleshing out his character (H50 does tend to lie down on the job with this, I mean, look at Lori), but HEY LOOK THEY'VE GONE AND FIXED THAT FOR ME AND IT WAS WONDERFUL. T_T

(I feel like I need a Max icon now, how are there never enough icons?)
