So it's been a little while since I've posted, and it's not that I haven't been doing anything awesome. I'm still doing things like jumping into the Columbia River, licking banana slugs, holding kestrels, and designing science-fiction rpgs. My life is full of awesome. So full of awesome I don't have the time or energy to properly document my doings. Darn. How horrible.
Anyway, some quick things.

hiryuu's journal, because everyone I know needs to see this. World War I and World War II as illustrated by anthropomorphic nations. This is quite possibly the best thing ever.

PTERODACTYL! ...I don't even remember where I got this icon. It's one of those icons that's actually a t-shirt, a phenomenon that sometimes is awesome and sometimes annoys me. Maybe it only annoys me when I've actually seen the shirt on a person, or own it myself. Or maybe it doesn't annoy me if the icon actually works gracefully as an icon. Regardless, I love this icon. I tend to use it to indicate things that are awesome or crazy. Also, it's sort of unintentionally a Torchwood/Supernatural crossover.

Jesse made this icon! He also made the comic it references, Metanoia (I can't not pimp it, it's too awesome). The icon refers to Star's heart, and is very apt. That scene in the comic is pretty freaking sweet, too. It's a dream sequence, and Star pulls his burning heart out of his chest. I tend to use this icon when I'm being a bitch.

Feet! Another Metanoia icon. They're hard to avoid... a third of my icons are Metanoia. This is from another dream sequence. The whole sequence is gloriously beautiful, because ohmigod Rah is amazing.
aidara made several from that sequence, but this, strangely, is my favorite. Zan's toes! They are so cute! I tend to use this for solemn things.

And yet another Metanoia-related icon. This one is not from canon, but is in fact a quote from my own fanfiction, in which Zan finds Star's pants hanging on the doorknob outside their apartment. ...Shut up, you, my having this icon does not make me as self-absorbed as it seems to. I'm cool enough to have this icon because
sirona_gs liked my writing enough to make an icon of it. She uses the icon as well. We have joint custody.

The Master! Everyone's favorite batshit-crazy evil Doctor Who villain! This regeneration especially is quite batshit. Because John Simm is awesome. And adorable. And omg I love this man. ...The use of this icon should be self-explanatory.

Roy and Moss from The IT Crowd, a hilariously awesome British comedy show that I love so very very much. This is one of the best scenes EVER. Moss and Roy are lurking about in suspicious circumstances, and when a cop car goes by, Moss decides to take the cliché route and snog Roy's face off. And then the cop cars keep driving by. And keep driving by. And then some more. So Moss keeps snogging Roy. I laughed so hard I cried, and I busted a gut and had trouble breathing. I got this icon off of
britishcomedy, the source of so many of the icons I have had at various points. I tend to use this icon to indicate things that are awesome.
