Oh, don't worry, it's still there. When I go back to the islands for visits, the longer I'm there, the thicker the accent comes back, until I've been there for several weeks and my friend from Eugene, Oregon can't understand me anymore. It's like John Barrowman... when he's talking to Scots, he has a Scottish accent, and when he's talking to Yanks, he has an American accent. I just... can't talk pidgin when I'm not hearing it.
