So yeah, it's been a while. My life has been fucking insane. @_@

But! As of Sunday, I am once more gainfully employed. :D

...At the Epiq System Call Center, same place I was working before. : |

The case I was hired for is really easy and straight-forward so far, it looks like it should keep me in employ for a while. Also, the Call Center seems to be better organized than it was when I left it. :D

I miss my old desk, though. I'm not in a corner this time, and I'm in full view of my supervisor, which means I can't read a book in between calls. D:

...So what I did instead today was scribble Teen Titans fanfiction on my company-supplied notepad. Appropriate use of office supplies y/y? :DD

I am extremely tickled by the idea of writing at work. I think I will do this every day. Knock out some Teen Titans fic and then maybe return to my neglected novel. :DDD

Aphelion has been EPIC recently, what with the Mod Plot, character death, fabulous new characters, and surprise!awesome plot logs. :DDDD

RP + work = Angela does not get much sleep. They had to hire me the week of the Mod Plot, didn't they? DX

Will and I went for a run today. Exercise ftw! :D

He and Lauren and I abruptly decided to go to Walla Walla for RenFaire this weekend. :DD

When Lauren gets back to Portland, she needs to let Penny go. D:

Because Lauren is going away to Saipan for the summer. D: ? :D ?

That is all for now, because it's past my bedtime. T_T

...Don't forget to hug a tree on Earth Day! :D

Spring!

It's March 21st, which means it's Dick Grayson's birthday! At least, until they change the canon again. ^_^ So, happy birthday to the bestest Robin that ever was! *huggles him*

Richard's here hanging out, which is good fun. Last evening Dar made pasta from scratch, and the most amazing pasta sauce the world has ever seen, and really fantastic bread, and chocolate pasta, also from scratch, which we ate with strawberries and syrup and the caramel sauce she made and walnuts. IT WAS AMAZING I ATE SO MUCH OF IT AND THEN MY TUMMY HURT. Lauren came over as well and we watched Top Gear. It was good times.

Today (well, technically yesterday) it was beautiful (!) and sunny (!!) and warm (!!!), so Richard and Lauren and I went hiking in Forest Park, which was fabulous.

Then we had our Aphelion poker log, which was the most amazing epic failure due some stupid flash caching glitch that has been plaguing AIM for months. In 2 1/2 hours we managed to play one hand of Texas hold-em. Of course they started out with lots of banter and bickering, so there was that... we got partially through the hand and Hatter showed up, but she couldn't get into the chatroom. Lauren tried to invite her, and as a result got booted as well and couldn't get back in either. We spent half an hour twiddling our thumbs while she tried and failed to get in; eventually she made a new username and got in with that. By this point, however, it was almost bedtime for Paula, so we had to scramble to at least finish the one hand.

Meanwhile, in-game, the hand was also kind of a dismal failure. The flop was king of hearts, two of clubs, six of spades, the turn was queen of spades, and the river was a five of spades. I forget what everyone else had in the hole, but Robin had a ten of spades and a seven of clubs, and everyone had similarly dismal pocket cards; Church had the best hand with a pair of sixes. So the result was that everyone checked all the way through until the river, when Robin decided he could bluff having a spade flush and put fifty cents in. And he got away with it too... earning a grand total of fifteen imaginary cents (the small and big blinds, imaginary because they have no actual money to play with so the chips are worthless) and Church's track pants. ...YAY.

...So we're going to try to continue tomorrow, and we're all downloading Skype as a backup plan in case AIM hates us again. -_-;;

So. Stuff that's gone on since my last post.

The weekend before last, Dar, James, and I went to CC Slaughters, a nightclub in downtown Portland. A gay nightclub. So I can cross that off of my Lifetime To-Do list.

...It was a very gay nightclub. And it was AMAZING. This is my new favorite place in Portland. We got there at 10 to discover that they had $1 drink specials from 10-11, so we ordered as many as we could. Even better, there were free lollipops. It didn't take us long to befriend some gay boys... first an awkward but cute guy named Andrew, then the more flamboyant and outgoing guy who was flirting with him. I was amused to see that the dance floor was empty for the longest time, but as soon as they put Lady Gaga on it was packed. We danced with some guys, we danced with some girls, we met a lot of people but by now I've forgotten their names. I got a lot of compliments on my hair, my outfit, and my dancing, so that felt good. The group we ended up hanging with (a couple of the guys were kind enough to watch our stuff) seemed to be of the general opinion that I was adorable. ^_^ One of the two girls we were dancing with initially that adopted us into the group had the hots for me, and was very disappointed when she discovered in a whispered conference with James that I was, in fact, straight. But just to be sure she double-checked with me. XD; ...I felt kind of bad, actually. The story of my life: Angela, Breaker of Hearts.

I dirty-danced with Dar, and James, and handful of strangers of both genders. ...And then there was that one guy, The Slut. We spent the whole night watching him have sex-with-clothes-on with half the people on the dance floor, both genders. Then he got his hands on Dar. Then he got his hands on ME. I... I'm not sure I can articulate what that was like. That was definitely the dirtiest I've gotten with anyone, ever. I was completely dominated. ...I-I don't think I'm technically a virgin anymore. @_@

So anyway, that was a lot of fun. This past weekend involved a tsunami scare in Hawaii (nothing happened, the waves were tiny) and a trip to the Japanese Garden on Free-Admissions Day. We thought this was a fabulous idea since it had been such a mild winter, and all the flowers were blooming, and it was such a gorgeous day. ...Unfortunately, half of Portland had the same idea. The calming, peaceful affect of the garden was somewhat ruined by the noise and mobs of people EVERYWHERE. ...Oh well. And then Lauren and I went to the Jonathan Coulton concert, which was freaking EXCELLENT. Paul and Storm were the best opening act I've ever had the pleasure of seeing, and were worth half the ticket price by themselves. Seriously, I busted a gut laughing. And JoCo was, of course, amazing. And the lady who was doing the lights wins my eternal affection, because she was a snarky little firecracker. She'd do all these clever little visual puns with the lights, and when JoCo and Paul and Storm started joshing with her, she showed them who was boss by turning the lights out on them and threatening to crush them with the projection screen. Also the audience was amazing and outgoing and witty and fun.

...Also how did I not know that "I'm Your Moon" was about Charon and Pluto? IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE NOW!! I loved the song before and now it's even better. And Lauren still wins for independently making the astronomy connection a few hours earlier when she suggested it was a good Aphelion theme song.

Speaking of Aphelion, if the addition of Carrie's Master didn't make me happy enough (you and he are brilliant, btw! <3 <3), my exploits on [livejournal.com profile] dear_mun have finally paid off, because I-pin's mun succumbed to temptation and joined the game! (Unfortunately, I immediately lost the game right after.) This is brilliant because I-pin is adorable, and with both her and the Master there will be lots of fun time-travel shenanigans. And I'm pleased for Robin, because now he has someone his own age to talk to, and we already know the two of them make good friends, and he has someone to spar with, and he has someone to be all impressed by his egotistical awesome self, and she's a girl, and she's cute, and once he's gotten over Starfire things are going to be HILARIOUS. ...Seriously, it's hard enough already to keep him from unintentionally flirting. ...NAUGHTY DICK GRAYSON. *swats him with a rolled-up newspaper* DOWN BOY.

...Speaking of segues [livejournal.com profile] dear_mun, Robin's been talking to a Sophie Hatter, an Aziraphale, and an AMAZING Marvin. Robin also felt the need to complain about his weird-ass mun. ...What? Is planning out the progression of my character's puberty really that strange? ...Okay, yeah, it kind of is. ^_^;; But he finally got to talk to a Tim (animated! :DD) and a truly excellent Joker, and there was a little Aphelion get-together with Richard and the Master as well.

......I have an interview at Parry Center on Wednesday. OH MY GOD WISH ME LUCK. I want/need this job like burning. T_T
zolac_no_miko: (BATMAN!!)
AHAHAHAHAHA THE SAINTS WON!!

Man, that was an epic game! It was really close with lots of drama... the Colts had a ten-point lead in the first quarter, largely due to their quarterback's surgical precision with a football. The Saints got it back by pulling some ridiculously ballsy moves (short kickoff in a Super Bowl game, who does that?! :DD), and then there was that amazing interception and touchdown! When they scored a touchdown with three minutes on the clock, it was over. Final score 31-17, and the Saints win the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history!! Man, can I pick a winner! The one team in all of pro football I decided to care about, and look at them now! :DDDDDD ...I bet half of New Orleans died of alcohol poisoning last night. XDD; Uncle Ivan said most schools were closed today, too.

Fun fact: last night's game was the most-watched program in television history. Wow.

So anyway, after a minor cold last week, I had a fairly fun weekend. Dar and I got caught up in Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries. I did a fun log on Saturday, in which I got Robin horribly injured. Whoops~! :DD (Watch him complain about it on [livejournal.com profile] dear_mun. He is reeeeaaallly pissed at me. XDD;) And then a bunch of us went to see Demons at Cinema 21. That movie was ridiculous. 80's slasher flick involving an evil movie theater full of demon zombies with amazingly bad lines and incredible scenes such as the hero and his new girlfriend riding over the theater seats on a motocross bike while stabbing demon zombies with a katana. And then there was the part of the movie where the ceiling started groaning, and Dar and I thought the theater was going to get all House of Leaves on them, but no, it was just a RANDOM HELICOPTER FALLING THROUGH THE CEILING, wtf. ...And then there was, you know, the Super Bowl.

I had the scariest dream last night. DD: )

Will and I have plans to go swing dancing tomorrow, FINALLY. So that should be fun.

Also, Lauren and James, this is for you. I apologize for inflicting Lady Gaga on you, but listen to this. ...And then think of Old Gregg.
zolac_no_miko: (BATMAN!!)
Quick LJ update, since I've been missing for a little bit. Let's make an itemized list again, those are fun.

1. Lauren and I greatly enjoyed hanging with Melissa and her Dad in Corvallis. We watched all of the RT shorts. It was fun. The falconry meet was also fun, if a bit fail. Tiny children thought Penny was cute, which was observant of them. We followed the longwingers in an attempt to see a successful duck hunt. ...Attempt, I said. The winter meet is supposed to be the duck hunters' meet, but as Randy said, there was a lot of trying, no dying. The weather was gorgeous, which meant the ducks weren't sitting on the ponds... we spent half the day just trying to find them. When we finally did, bird was doing a good flight, but just as flushed the ducks, a FUCKING BALD EAGLE CAME OUT OF NOWHERE and tried to eat the bird. (Becca, I blame you.) Next pond full of ducks, excellent flight, nice stoop... but out of all the lovely ducks on the pond, bird wanted the FUCKING CANADA GOOSE. Damn near got it, too, but not quite. All of the other birds were completely fail, except for the last flight, which knocked some feathers of a duck, but didn't quite manage to kill it. A pheasant and a pigeon died in completely unsatisfying ways, and that was it. *sigh*

2. The reason I haven't been on LJ is Aphelion started up. YAAAAAAAY!! It's been gobs of fun so far. Starting roster: Robin (Teen Titans), Church (Red vs. Blue), Tex (Red vs. Blue), Edmond Dantes (The Count of Monte Cristo), Sam Carter (Stargate), James May (Top Gear), and Richard Hammond (Top Gear). Poor Becca's being eaten by her thesis etc. and had to immediately put Sweets (Bones) on hiatus (;_;) but when she comes back it will be AMAZING. And Lauren's bringing in Shadow (Sonic the Hedgehog) this weekend, and Carrie's got the Master (Doctor Who) on reserve, and the addition of these two will only increase the awesomosity. :DDDD

3. After playing phone tag with Dan for a week and a half, I succeeded in speaking to him. He was born in Hawaii, was a kid in So Cal, and has lived in Portland since he was 10. He has a cat named Lincoln who he found as a kitten on the side of the road and rescued from certain death. He loves music, likes to sing, enjoys karaoke, and just joined a band as a singer. He likes dancing, and Dante's. He currently makes money playing poker. ...We have vague plans to meet up sometime.

4. Having James May and Richard Hammond in Aphelion finally got me watching Top Gear, which I've been meaning to do for months and months. AND NOW I CAN'T STOP. I seriously love this show guys. T_T

5. The Saints made it to the Super Bowl. HELLS YEAH can I pick a winner! GEAUX SAINTS GEAUX!!

That is all, carry on. *goes back to watching Top Gear, the BEST SHOW EVER*

I just spent most of the day reviewing applications and getting people set up the bomb to play the game which you just lost and ohmigod I am so tired.

But! We officially have (three) actual players for Aphelion now! That aren't us! And two of them are people we don't even know! TRIUMPH!! We are go for launch!! TT_TT

...I think I will sleep now. @_@
zolac_no_miko: (BATMAN!!)
So the A.F.I. concert was great. The opening band, Ceremony, had kinda boring music, but I found their personalities enjoyable, and I had a front-row seat for the ridiculousness that was the mosh pit. Dar and I had fun hanging out with Grant, and chatting with the awesome people around us about Portland and A.F.I. and how sweet it is to have a Hellboy tattoo. Like, seriously, pretty much the whole crowd was great.

Then A.F.I. came on the stage, and a bunch of douchebags mowed me and Grant over on the way to the stage. Like, seriously, I thought I was going to be trampled to death. I have a bruise on one knee, and a big strawberry on the other.

A.F.I. was AWESOME. They played a really excellent set with most of our favorite songs, and they were lots of fun to watch. Especially Davey. Omg Davey, ilu. I had tons of fun jumping up and down and beating my fists in the air and screaming along to the songs with the rest of the crowd. Towards the end of the set the crowd shuffled this guy next to me, and he was loud and exuberant and happy, and he apparently thought I was hot shit because he started putting his arm around my shoulders. In a happy, companionable way. But totally also in a "hitting on hot rocker chick" way. I didn't mind... he was so happy! So I put my arm around his shoulders, and we jumped up and down like lunatics and danced and were happy. Dar kept being all, *elbowelbow* "HE'S CUTE!" *elbowelbow*

The very last song they played, at the end of the encore, was Silver and Cold. OHMIGOD YAY. I had been waiting and hoping all night, so when I heard the opening chords I screamed like a maniac. Happy Dude turns to me and is like, "THIS IS THE SONG THAT GOT ME INTO THIS BAND! :D" and I'm like, "OHMIGOD ME TOO! :D" ...So I rocked the hell out and screamed every line of that song with great enjoyment.

The music stopped and the lights came on, and Dar's like, "Get his number OR ELSE." So I hung about awkwardly for a few seconds, and sure enough he asks my name, and gives me his (Dan), and asks if I'd like his number, since we have the same taste in music and all. ...Which was classy of him, we thought. So I said sure, and now I have his number. ...And now I'm going to have to call him. OR ELSE. And I think I totally will. Like, I dunno, why not? How else am I going to meet guys in Portland?

Dar and Grant and I dropped by Dante's to grab some pizza and sodas. We sat outside and listened to the Karaoke From Hell inside... karaoke with a live band, which sounds pretty sweet, actually. ...Some of it was pretty atrocious, but this one chick did a good cover of Come Together, by The Beatles. We watched as some bums across the street had a fight, and a whole pile of cop cars showed up. But then we were done with our pizza and getting cold, so we left. And that is all.

Robin is talking to Rose Wilson. This should be interesting. Also, I posted with him at [livejournal.com profile] sixwordstories, for a change of scene and more [livejournal.com profile] aphelion_rpg advertising.

...PEOPLE NEED TO APPLY. TT_TT
zolac_no_miko: (BATMAN!!)
It's official, [livejournal.com profile] aphelion_rpg is open for reserves and applications. ...I AM SO AGITATED ABOUT THIS. Seriously guys, this project has been literally a year in the making. I just went back and looked in my inbox, and Lauren brainstormed the idea and recruited me on Jan 12, 2009. This is a big fat baby and I'm so happy she's finally gonna be born, but after all the hard work we've invested in her YE GODS I AM SO NERVOUS.

Lauren, bb, ilu. Thanks for being my co-parent and partner in crime. <3 <3 <3

Also, thanks to all of our friends who've been so supportive, lending us your excitement or even your brains. You know who you are. YOU GUYS ROCK.

asdhjfkslmnfabguhrrgk I need to be doing something else now.

APPLY APHELION. BOTHER ROBIN ON DEAR MUN. DO IT. FOR GREAT JUSTICE.
zolac_no_miko: (PTERODACTYL!)
Okay, so Aphelion's not going to be a January baby. She's going to be a February baby. Actually, she'll share a birthday with [livejournal.com profile] magusronin - February 1st! So, close enough.

OMG SO EXCITED. She is literally DONE with the construction stage. We're on to beta now, and she'll be open for reserves and apps on January 20th. Look how shiny she is! T_T

Promotion post the third on [livejournal.com profile] dear_mun. ...You know, I think that sign might be my favorite.
zolac_no_miko: (BATMAN!!)
Today has been a day for small things that I nonetheless find very exciting.

Excitement the first. Hanging with Lauren and Penny is always fun. I watched Lauren toss bits of meat for her, which she chased and even, once or twice, caught in mid-air. And she caught the lure before Lauren even had a chance to swing it properly, by flying to her head hopping down on it from about a foot away, the little cheater. What was exciting, though, was when she needed a bit more food in the evening. Lauren took half the meat and the glove, and I took the other half of the meat and the whistle, and we stood on opposite ends of the room to see if we could get Penny to fly back and forth between us for her tidbits. She'd never done this before but she went straight to it with no hesitation, which I thought was awesome. So that was exciting, and fun.

Excitement the second. The reason I was at Lauren's was, of course, to work on Aphelion, as we have been since FOREVER. Well, we worked all day, and at the end of the day we realized... we don't really have any more work to do! We've got to polish a few things, tie up some odds and ends, and post our missing bits to the comm, and then we're DONE. So we plan to meet Wednesday or something to do just that, shanghai a few friends to beta for us, and then omg cut the ribbon and open her up for apps! TT_TT She will indeed be a January baby!

So here's me, heavily promoting.

As you can see, safety is our primary concern on Icelus. Tell me you wouldn't want to join a game where we take such good care of our colonists.

And in the spirit of promotion, post the second on [livejournal.com profile] dear_mun. Feel free to poke, if you so desire.
zolac_no_miko: (BATMAN!!)
So, today was a lot of fun. I went over to Lauren's and we got some work done on Aphelion, and tossed flecks of meat around for the bird, and made enchiladas, and schmoozed with her extended family, and watched the Survivor finale, and watched silly internet videos, and watched Merlin. So all of that was really really fun.

Plus, my first test-drive of Robin is, in my mind, a resounding success! He is just as much fun to play as I thought he would be, and I've only just scratched the surface of his silly little self. Also, [livejournal.com profile] dear_mun really pulled through. Right off I got a Terra, which is deliciously awkward. I've also got an Espio, lol. But, omg, I'm having the most amazingly adorable conversation with a Wonder Girl, I've got a Dick Grayson!Batman, and he and Robin are busy ANGSTANGSTANGSTOMGANGSTing at each other like only Batfamily can, and omg Koriand'r needs to come back because nothing says awkward!amazing like Teen Titans' cartoon Robin meeting Teen Titans' comic canon Starfire (the hair! the absence of clothes!), and I want to watch his brain implode.

AND he's talking to the Stepford Cuckoos, and the mun is KNOCK ON WOOD DON'T JINX IT interested in our game, so that's exciting to have someone we don't even know interested in our game already AND I don't know anything about the Cuckoos but the mun seems to have basic grammar and spelling down so that's promising AND the mun is considering potentially playing Poison Ivy AND if the mun brings Poison Ivy to our game we might have a Harley Quinn as well. TT_TT

AND I have fallen madly, madly in love with Deadpool. TTT_TTT Marvel, why are you so good to me?

...So! I AM HAVING SO MUCH FUN! ...Apparently I missed RPing. And damn we need to finish Aphelion post-haste because omg omg I want to plaaaaaaaaayy~! *bouncebounce*
zolac_no_miko: (BATMAN!!)
*cough* ...Attention F-list RPers! I finished putting together my lovely lovely journal (complete with [livejournal.com profile] shichahn's beautiful icons) for Teen Titans' Robin: [livejournal.com profile] boy_wondering. Check it out! Also, if you're bored and/or wanna help me out some (I need the practice), feel free to bother him on [livejournal.com profile] dear_mun, at this post right here.

...Now if we can only get [livejournal.com profile] aphelion_rpg off the ground. We are SO CLOSE OMG SO CLOSE. ...When we're done, you should totally join our game. You know you want to~! It'll be so much fun, promise!
zolac_no_miko: (two sizes too small AND ON FIRE)
I'm annoyed at my cat. I was totally going to wake up at a reasonable time today, except that she kept waking me up at unreasonable hours of the morning. She slept on my legs nice and quiet and peaceful for a while, and when she got up and walked out of my room, I got up and closed the door, so she wouldn't annoy me later. ...Ha! I wake up at 5 a.m. because the cat is outside my door plaintively meowing her head off. I tried ignoring her for a few minutes but eventually gave in. I got up and let her in. She proceeds to be as annoying as possible, sticking her claws and/or nose in my face and generally fucking around with things. She finally goes and lies down on my legs and I fall back asleep... until she does it again at 7. ...So now it's noon and I'm only just now waking up. Fuck you, cat.

However, I did have a fabulous dream about, of all people, Liberace. A bunch of my friends and I got on a tiny plane to go see him somewhere, Vegas or Disneyland or something. I walked in and all my family (on my mom's side) was there, dressed up fancy and sitting at a long table. My friends and younger cousins sat down but I was slow so I got a seat way at the end away from anyone I wanted to talk to. But then the show started. It was a Cirque du Soleil-style performance, and it was commemorating an important event in Liberace's actual life. You see, in my dream, Liberace was actual royalty (they kept referring to him as the Red Baron), and for some political reason or another, was supposed to be executed several years ago, but through luck and politics and diplomacy (and, apparently, really fabulous dancing and singing) was able to escape this grisly fate. So the whole performance was about that. There were lots of beads and sparkles and spinning and really cool stunts, and very little of it took place on the stage up front, it was all down on the floor amongst the audience. Audience participation was encouraged, so I danced around some. Will was actually part of the performance, somehow. Seemed like a pretty good gig, lucky him. Anyway, the performance was amazing, and when it ended we all filed out enthusing about how amazing it was. Liberace came down and sort of milled with the crowd and was very nice. I was polite to him (I accidentally got in his way and said "I'm sorry" and moved) and he thanked me for it. It was at about this point I realized I was dressed like a zombie. It was also at about this point I realized I had left my water bottle behind. I went and described it to the staff at Lost and Found (it had a lot more interesting stickers on it than it does in real life), and Liberace himself recognized it and gave it back to me. ...Then we all went outside, and my mom and I stood around and talked to my aunt and uncle from Berkeley, discussing how troublesome the imminent tornadoes were.

...This is all really weird, seeing as I care nothing for and indeed know very little about Liberace, other than that dude who wore funny clothes and played the piano that some people kind of liked, back in the day.

And now I need to get my ass in gear so I can go to Lauren's and work on Aphelion for the second day in a row.

...Btw, the movie Primer is really fucking weird. And confusing. Which I expected, but holyshit. I'm going to have to watch it again sometime, and hopefully figure some shit out.
zolac_no_miko: (God-King of Hostilistan)
Friday I took a couple of buses over to Lauren's house. I had a long conversation with a very nice, cute, and slightly ADD guy named Doug... we talked about Stephen King, books, movies, college, where we've lived, and what we want to do with our lives. Lauren picked me up from the Park and Ride and we ate tacos in her kitchen while her parents chilled in the family room, drinking wine and listening to Metric's "Live It Out" on high volume. We spent some quality time working on Aphelion before Lauren took me home, having to go to bed earlyish so she could go trapping for her kestrel. My friend Becca texted me to announce joyously that she had proposed to her girlfriend, and she had said yes, which was wondrous news. It's a good thing me and Dar were there to help her pick out the ring; obviously it was a winner. :DD

Saturday I slept in real late, then spent some time writing. Around midday Dar and I went to the community center and *GASP!* worked out at the gym. We did 20 mins on the ellipticals, did a sampling of most of the weight equipment, and finished up with a short jog on the treadmills- my first workout in a gym EVER in my life. Which is even stranger than it sounds, as I've been a regular athlete since I was five. I guess I've always been a bit disdainful of gyms, preferring to get my workout doing sports, preferably outside. But it was hella fun. And we've bought a 20-visit pass, so we'll be going regular, hopefully. Afterwards we loosened up doing a few laps in the pool. I climbed the rope again (which is a lot harder after a hard workout, ohmigod), we went down the waterslide, and then finally boiled our muscles in the hot tub as a preventative measure. I'm sure I'll be sore tomorrow anyway.

Feeling sufficiently like we'd been pummeled by meat tenderizers and injected with happy drugs, we went to pick up Lauren, whose kestrel-catching venture was a bust, alas. Next week, perhaps- fingers crossed! We showered and ate salmon-salad sandwiches and bean salad, and Lauren and I marathoned the very first episodes of Doctor Who (OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH BECCA). We also watched a few episodes of Snuff Box, which is FUCKING BIZARRE and also amazing and awesome.

Today is also the birthday of Jesse Hajicek, one of my favorite writers. As a gift to him I have written a few shorts and drabbles about Star and Zander, the main characters of his fabulous webcomic, Metanoia (for non-Riversiders, you may remember Star from my pr0n earlier this month). Remember those drabbles I asked for, for my Sekrit Projekt? Yeah, this is them. I only had time and inspiration for four, oh well. If you're interested, here they are (cross-posted to [livejournal.com profile] riverside_hq), and thank you so much for the prompts!

Drabbles for Jesse )
